Car and truck parts pricing
There is a 50% additional charge for colors such as clear coats and translucent/anodized/candy colors due to being a 2-step coating process. Please give us a call or email us if you are unsure.
All prices are estimates only and pricing will depend on the amount of prep work involved.
Cast aluminum and magnesium parts may experience bubbling due to out- gassing in the finished powder coating. Precision Coatings will take every precaution to avoid out-gassing, however Precision Coatings cannot be held responsible for bubbling caused by porous coatings.
Each piece must be disassembled or additional charges will apply.

Sandblasting
Price varies by project
Basic sandblasting in the blast cabinet starts at 50/hr depending on the complexity of the part. Such as plugging bolt holes, tapping off delicate areas, designs and cleanliness of the part. Oily residue contamination will transfer to the powder coating and ruin a job. All parts are thoroughly cleaned prior to blasting.
Medium sized sandblasting jobs start at 85/ hr. This is done outside with a sand blasting pot where media cannot be recovered and cost of replacing media is added in the price.
Large sandblasting jobs will currently be outsourced as we do not have the equipment to accomplish the job in a timely manner. We would be happy to assist you in finding the right company for the job.
